Farm Fresh Meat - Exploring the True Essence of Ranch Living: A Closer Look at Daily Life and Responsibilities

Wake up and smell the... cow patties? Well, I can't say it's butterflies and rainbows ALL of the time, but it is ALWAYS worth it.

We woke up to a wonderful surprise... Our sweet 9H4 "Maiden" blessed us with a heifer calf "Rose." She will be used by a 4H child in the show ring. We cannot wait to see her earnings in the future!

Charlee has been hard at work today checking her cows or "tows" as she says it. After all of this rain, we have to make sure everyone is safe and sound, as well as no mama cows have had calves in any standing water. All is well here on the ranch and all calves are nice and dry. We are thankful for a herd of great mama cows!

We've got some little chicks hatching out! They are Polish and Cochin chickens. This little one is ready for it's clutch mates to hatch so it can break out of this incubator and stretch those legs!

"Whitney" is one of our most loving cows. She loves pets and to give licks. This is what makes processing our beef so difficult! But, we want to serve our community and make sure we have a hand in getting HEALTHY meat into their hands at an affordable price.
